shops in the 2nd arrondisment

If you’re in need of kitchenware or specialty foods for baking, etc… go to Mora, La Bodiva, and G. Detou.  They are all located within the same block of the 2nd arrondisment.

I purchased my amazing “Paris pan” at La Bovida. (Thank you, Kristin... for holding that 20 pounder out of the window. Took a few... but I finally got a good shot.)

G. Detou has anything and everything you could possibly need for baking… My mom was enjoying herself!

After all three we figured to make an afternoon out of it and went to Comptoir de la Gastronomie for a late lunch.  Tucked in the back you can have a nice quiet lunch or dinner.  It’s a nice get away and veryyyy tasty. 

My mom and I both had the soup d’jour: cauliflower soup

 And split the tomato mozzarella. Presentation is everything…
